I have been hard at work on an update for TVStatus that brings a couple of new features and helps with a few small bugs. I submitted the update to Apple just this morning and hopefully the update will be reviewed and available sometime early next week. I’ll leave you with a screenshot of the update that reveals one of the new features that was requested by a few users:
As a part of our desire to make TVStatus an application that is useful across the globe for the many millions of iPhone users, we have added a couple of new options to the “News” tab in the TVStatus application. Be sure to check out the faster, more thorough News option available for all users with the TVStatus application installed.
Stay tuned for more updates this weekend. The “Schedule” tab will be getting more complete listings for users in countries other than the United States.
I have received a number of e-mails regarding support in the United Kingdom and across the globe. I just added support for about 1200 shows from the United Kingdom and hope to be adding more from Australia and Canada very soon! Anyone with the TVStatus application installed on their iPhone or iPod touch should now be able to add various shows from the United Kingdom to their ‘My Shows’ list. Go ahead and check out the complete Show List to see a list of all of the shows that are currently being tracked in our database.
Overall, the launch of the TVStatus application has gone very smoothly and we are pleased with the feedback that we have received! As always, if you have any difficulty or questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
